University HS 2017 40-Year Reunion on Saturday, September 30, 2017

Event Description

The Class of 1977 invites and welcomes their friends from associated years to include 1974, 1975, 1976, 1978, 1979, & 1980.

• Friday, September 29, 2017, 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. - Pizza Party in University Park at McGuffey Pool (Irvine).  The address is 4552 McGuffey Way. From Culver, turn south on Michelson, then right on Mann.  Make a right at the second street and park at that street (McGuffey) and pool will be on your left.  Look for UHS banner and little yellow ducky (just kidding about the little yellow ducky).  The gate should be propped open.  Bring your inflatables  - we practice safe swimming!  We'll provide the pizza and salad.  BYOB.

• Saturday, September 30, 2017, 7:00 p.m. to midnight - Reunion Dinner & Dance at the Costa Mesa Country Club, 1701 Golf Course Drive, Costa Mesa.  (Click on bottom map below to see details.)  Event includes buffet dinner overlooking the greens, listening and dancing to Cold Shot - an awesome cover band specializing in 70s and 80s rock, an open mike/talent show (sign up that night) - comment, tell jokes, sing, dance, tell really bad jokes.... In addition, we will be honoring our advisor and mentor, Phil Quon, for his many years of continuing friendship. Party with Mr. Quon!!  Ticket price is $75 per person through the end of August. Ticket prices increase by $10 on September 1, 2017.  Buy now to make sure you have a reservation as space is limited! Credit cards accepted. TICKETS ARE NONREFUNDABLE ON SEPTEMBER 9, 2017 AND AFTER.  NO EXCEPTIONS.  

• Sunday, October 1, 2017, 10:30 a.m. - Picnic/BBQ at William Mason Regional Park located at corner of University and Culver in Irvine. Shelter 2 by the lake is reserved - look for the banner and balloons! Charcoal and paper products will be supplied, you bring whatever you want to grill and side dishes, desserts, drinks, and smiles to share!  Don't forget the frisbees (or your families). Be prepared to pay $5 parking fee.
